William Henry Jackson’s view of the Colorado Midland’s eastern ascent of Hagerman Pass.

But of course!!! Well actually I can’t decide which I like the best so here are a few of my favorites from the excursions at Steamtown USA.
The mike getting ready to hook on to a dozen or so heavyweight cars.
The Pacific to be used for yard tours.
The Pacific on the turntable (very similar to the Walthers 90’ - except that this one actually works!) moving into the roundhouse for a nights rest.
This is my favorite, because it was my first night shot.
Two Geeps get the green light after waiting for two trains to pass!
IREAALY LOVE these pics above! Thanks howmus
Here’s one I took some years ago. I call it “Rails into the Sunset”:
Bob Boudreau
Bob, that’s nice the sun reflecting off the rails.

I got a few I’d like to share as well [:)]
AC4400 posing for me at dusk…
D-9 posing for me at 5:00 on a summer evening

Is this classified as a railfan photo?
Thats the sweetest shot of a 4000 I’ve ever seen!
Here’s one of my fav’s. I took it as they rolled to a stop before reversing the whole lot back into the Middleton yards.
I have a love affair with diesels and coal trains.
I need help!!!

SpaceMouse,
That GNER Eurostar at Kings Cross is just the “Present Day” train you need to match your Hogwarts Express at the same station.
I have the Hornby set in those colours, two power cars and four trailers, in two articulated pairs. The lettering “The Route of the Flying Scotsman” on the car sides is really nice. I also have a similar livery HST set and a Class 91 and Mark IV set in those colours - there’s something about dark blue with gold lettering…
But I’m crazy…
But even the photo is nice on its own.
Peter
I found that picture when I was researching the station. That’s a big place.
