Cornerstone modulars?

Anyone using these or tried them?just bought one looks kinda confusing, any feedback.

I’ve used them recently to build a backscene flat warehouse using the concrete bases, tall walls and roof bits. What caught me out was that like DPM the tall thin columns in the brick effect kit fit between the wall sections with windows and doors and that the wall sections are not butted together with the column laid on top. DPM have two widths of wall column and I have a habit of not reading the instructions. The Walthers instructions, once read, were pretty good but I was freelancing the building to fit the available space.

I have a lot of the Cornerstone modulars and am very pleased with them.

Seems there are parts left over on everyone I built. Some times so many that I thought I had goofed!

One of the modulars is the Cornerstone Sterling Dairy. This was a really huge box of parts.

Just make sure you read all of the instructions before you begin.

I highly recommend them.

I wrote a review thread of my experience constructing a structure with these some time ago. You can read through it at: http://www.trains.com/TRC/CS/forums/517460/ShowPost.aspx

Good luck.

I’m busy building a plugin diorama and I used the modular system for the basic con struction. Here are a few photos of the project.

Thank you very much for your replies,I did a search but didnt find anything on this site.wickhamman thats a great review I dont know why it doesnt come up on the search but thanks for sharing.GS4 that looks great!

Yes, the search functionality on the new forum site is still not including past threads. The only reason I could find it was because I was a contributor to that thread. I hope you enjoy using the kits and post some pics of your work. I haven’t seen many people creating things with them to this point.

GS4, the pics look great. Congrats on a good job!
