I’m modeling an HO EMD SD60 demonstrator. Life-Like’s model is beautiful, but the blue on their demos is too dark. Conrail blue has been suggested as a possible substitute, since it’s fairly close, but to my purist eye it still looks a bit too dark. Q: Anybody know of an off-the-shelf paint that would be right-on-the-money, or if mixing a bit of white in the Conrail blue will fill the bill? Appreciate the help! By the way, the weather in Tucson is great for bar-b-ques right now.
