not posted correctly; cannot remove cover to wheels on atlas sd-60 diesel in order to clean wheels. it is a dcc model. any hints?
if youre talking the fake truck sides ,not sure but on most you unstap the gear covers and the sides slide out ,DO NOT pry on em…again not sure cause I dont have one …Jerry
You don’t need to remove the wheels to clean them. Put some rubbing alcohol on a small piece of cloth cut from an old tee shirt or handkerchief, hold it over the rails, and let the locomotive’s wheels run onto the cloth and spin. A heavy duty paper towel can also be used for this.
