The track is laid, the busses are wired, the switch machines are installed, but not wired. Its time for control panels. This is my progress this week.[:)]
This is my method for the actual panels. Its a very simplified version of the track plan for each side. I made it in paint and affixed it to the layout with spray on adhesive. The toggle switches will go where thier corresponding turnouts are on the layout.
I built a little platform for my command station, the layout power switch is on the other side of the panel and there is a computer fan ducted to keep all the power supplies cool.
There will be 2 more plug in spots like this around the layout. Very easy to install via loconet. Good thinking Digitrax[:D]
