Could some tel what was the normal consist of the California Zeypher in the early to mid 90's

Could some one tell me what was the normal consist on the Calfornia Zeypher in the early to mid 90’s before the P42’s came out.

Three or four F40’s, and a dozen or so superliners, depending on where along the route.

Were their any Mail Cars and how many Passenger Cars and what types?

My last trip from Chicago aboard the CZ I recall two MHC’s, two sleepers, one diner, a dome/lounge and six coaches, all Superliner equipment (excluding the MHC’s of course).

How could their be 6 coaches? at the most their 5

I did my best to recall the number of coaches. I know that at least two were uncoupled from the CZ @ Salt Lake to head to Oregon. We’re talking over ten years ago and I’m having a ‘senior’ moment.
