Ha, ha; H2’s suck! They’re strictly ON road vehicles, and this is just another example of their stellar offroading capabilities (and of the morons who buy them).
If ya wanna go offroading, ya gotta know what you’re doing, and have a decent vehicle. Jeep or Land Rover, preferably.
when they were living in Arizona , my father and mother did quite a bit of off roading in their toyota pickup truck and later in their ford explorer . which shows that a lot of it is knowing what you’re doing even more than what you’re driving .
obviously the driver of the H2 in the photo is a complete idiot . even if he hadn’t got stuck what was he going to do , drive through the tunnel ?
hummers have to be the most useless vehicle on the road , or off the road apparently !
I agree, it is 80% operator ability (as shown by our Hummer friend above) and 20% vehicle capability. I use a 2002 Nissan Pathfinder as my work truck. My work is in forestry and it gets a good work out. Has done what I want it to do without any issues.
Not mine but indicative of the uni-body Pathfinder abilities in the right hands:
here’s another example of a "moron in action’…this is probably the same guy that goes to the beach during a tsunami warning to see what a tsunami looks like…chuck
HAHAHAHHA!!!if you run onto the beach yelling, “im gonna get a picture of the wave!” you deserve to be hit by a tsunami. my dad owned a 1988 jeep cherokie for about 10 years. this was our beach wagon. it was unstoppable on rhode island beach territory. the sand killed it, tho. rusted right thru. mickey thompson tiers and rancho shocks were a good decision. Jeeps ROCK they havent wussed out and made a mockery of themselfs. an H2 is a soccer mom car on steroids. and jeeps are tehcnicaly moparsLOL.

I used to go off-roading myself me and my bro used to go all the time in a 78 ford bronco and sometimes a 95 F-150. Yes I’m a ford guy, So any word on if that UP loco trashed that piece of crap hummer?
My guess is that they were talking on their cell phone. (They should of waited till they got out of the tunnel before trying to use it.)
You do know that if you own a Hummer, you are required to talk on your cell phone as you drive. Otherwise, it won’t work. If you think I’m joking, count how many folks driving Hummers are talking on their cell phones as they drive…
That’s too bad that that Hummer was treated that way. It’s almost funny what you guys are saying about H2s. I personally have driven a stock H2 through 4 feet of mud, muck and water, and up a 200 ft sand dune. I’d like to see a stock Jeep do that.
And another thing, Jeep’s newest car, the Compass, isn’t even classified as trail rated! Ha! And need I remind you of how Daimler Chrysler’s sales are right now?[]
the soccer mom car from hell…
are the tracks street legal?
anywayse H2s are very capable, im shure, but NOTHING can compare to the H1. (except mabey a custom jeep)has anyone else noticed that the windows on hummers have been getting smaller and smaller with each model?

The picture looks real to me, Keep in mind this tunnel could curve, it could be long. I rode the cab of TVRM 610 and when we came up to the the tunnel it was really dark, the only light came from the other end. I think thats a real picture
I’m not buyin it. As much sunlight as there is outside, the light almost IMMEDIATELY stops going into the tunnel. It’s fake, man. Even so, I agree the H2 is a lot more than what some of you say. I have a buddy that trail rides about 25 miles away. They have an A, B and C trail. He says stock Hummers routinely have no trouble whatsoever with the B trails, and slightly modified ones can handle the C trail. I’ve taken my Super Duty 4X4 on the B trail…it made it, but I sure wish I had more aggressive tires. LOL
I agree. From that much sunlight, the tunnul would not turn black immideatly, you would see at least a few feet inside from the sunlight. Fake. Photoshoped.
If it is fake, why would the faker go to all the effort to get the Hummer behind some grass, get the shadows right and then just black out the tunnel?
Does not seem to make sense to me to do such a good job on everything EXCEPT the tunnel, which is the one thing that would be the easiest to do in photoshop.
