Coupler Conversion on Locomotives

Good Evening

I want to change the coupler (old originals) on my locomotives, for example a Life Like diesel switcher and a Bachmann 0-6-0, to Kadee 1025 couplets.

Can anyone tell me how to approach this project?

I’ve tried to attached photo’s but have not been succesful.

Jeff,

Are we talking N scale here? I see you mention 1025 couplers - this is the Micro-Trains part number for the basic ‘body mount’ N scale coupler. If so, I would consult the ‘conversion’ page on their web site:
