I’m kind of new at this and have a simple question…I’m changing some of my rolling stock couplers and wondered if there is such a thing as an N scale coupler gauge and where can I get one.
There certainly is a coupler height gauge for N scale. MicroTrains #1055 http://nscaledivision.com/micro-trains_trucks_couplers_wheels_tools.htm (scroll down about 3/4). You can buy it directly from MT or any MR hobby shop and most on-line MR stores and probably ebay.
There is such a thing as an N scale coupler gauge, and it is well worth having one on hand. Eyeballing the coupler height is one thing. Meeting NMRA standards is another.
