I’ve noticed in Pelle Soeborgs books and any pictures of his layout that he removes the coupler pins from his cars. Is he still able to use magnetic uncouplers or how does he uncouple his cars after doing that?
If you are talking Kadees, then you use a screwdriver or thin piece of wood, stick it between the couplers and twist.
You can also lift one knuckle over the other, lift one end of the car.
If you are not talking about Kadees, then I am confused.

The answer is NO. If you remove the coupler trip pins from KADEE couplers you can no longer uncouple them magnetically.
