Does anyone know the number (#) of the coupler that Micro-Trains uses on its own freight cars? Thanks in advance.
Mirco Trains uses several different turck and coupler combinations on it’s freight cars.
Depending on the era of the car and the type of car.
Arch Bar trucks are the oldest type followed by Andrews. They’ve just started making Full Cushion trucks for some express freight cars. Bettendorf were the most common used up to the point when Roller bearing trucks were introduced and there are two types of those.
The couplers on most Micro Trains freight cars are mounted on the trucks so replacing a damaged coupler will entail replacing the truck.
