Does anyone know if Athearn has future runs of the Genesis Trinity 5161 hoppers with new road names and numbers. I see Union Pacific has them now and Id love to get them to add to my shuttle train. The lower sill is notched at the B-end but they wouldnt need to remold, I could simply cut and glue but thats the only design change Ive noticed. Thanks

While I have no problem with Athearn producing new versions of their 5161’s, I’d like to see a re-issue (new numbers) of their twelve packs of early paint scheme BNSF cars. My Brown Worm is still way too short.

I know, my request isnt asking much, just a new paint scheme, but how hard can it be to reproduce a new number. I imagine its more than I think but these trains are run as units and theres plenty of a market out there for UP and BNSF. How long of an earthworm are you making? All of my unit trains, coal, intermodal, and grain are around 30 and I have a start on a unit ethonal train.
