I would have told the guy, sure your kid can play with my model. Give me a $500 deposit, (cause that’s what it’s worth to me) and when he’s done I’ll have a look at it and if it’s exactly as it was I’ll give you your money back. Otherwise you just bought your kid a train.
I think I would take the model home now. A guy like that…he’ll probably sabotage it in some way now.

Glad to hear things were on your side there. I can’t imagine having to deal with someone like that. I wonder what else that guy does to spoil the He%$ out of his kid. Apparently that kid doesn’t get told NO often enough.
