I just saw this schedule on the “Railroad Forums” webpage. It appears to be quite detailed. I hope this helps anyone planning on chasing #2816 on those days.
The CPR Empress (2816), Canadian Pacific Railway’s restored steam locomotive, makes its first visit to the Midwest this month and will be available for a limited number of one-way and roundtrips for employees and one guest each. Nominal fees, with proceeds going to food banks, will be charged.
We expect the July 2 roundtrip to Red Wing will be especially popular because the steamboat flotilla and the Milwaukee Road 261 steam locomotive will visit there that day as part of the Grand Excursion 150th anniversary celebration.
