If you get a chance to catch it, PBS is currently running a program on the history of the Banff Springs Hotel which was built by the Canadian Pacific RR. Our Canadian friends are fortunate to have such a magnificent structure in a land that is beautiful beyond words.

Its certainly the closest thing to a castle I’ve seen on this continent. Pretty stunning and what a beautiful setting for it.
