I’m modelling a CP wide vision caboose and I’m not sure of the cupola roof colour. I know the main roof is black but I havn’t found any prototype photos that show the cupola roof clearly. I’ve seen models with it painted both yellow and black. Which is it? Does anybody know?
The answer is yes…both are correct.
The best bet is to find a pic of the caboose you want to paint and go with that. With that being said, you can still see CPR vans with black or yellow roofs to this day.

Probably Accupaint Action Yellow.
OK…
I make my own Scalecoat paint mix and it is a bit more yellow than what you have, but it has a shine to it. I use 9 parts CP Yellow with 1 part CN Orange.
