CP inks agreement for outdoor advertising along its right-of-way

Don’t forget to consult the vandals. They have done a paramount job in using your railcars to advertise their cause.

The concept is progressing.

Who is going to read this advertising along the right-of-way, Hobos ?

You can see all the new billboards when you travel by train on any track that the CP controls. especially in the most scenic areas. I guess that the CP doesn’t understand people travel by train to see the scenery and not billboards.

I’m sure the billboards will be aimed at drivers on adjacent roads, whether running parallel or crossing at grade. Trying to travel by train on CP track can be a challenge - most is freight only. So don’t worry about the view being spoiled in scenic areas; the highway has already succeeded in doing that. Train riders are certainly not the target market.

This is for the management 700 EXISTING signboards already along on CP property, and the construction and management of DIGITAL signboards, it will most likely be alongside roadways that parallel the CP right-of-way, as well as on land that CP owns anywhere…the real estate division of the company…railroads own a lot more land that you might think.

Exactly Gerald, sometimes we, as readers, just skim through an article when we really need to read past the first paragraph.
