Hearing that the Latta sub is up for sale. Wonder if they are selling all or just segment of line? What will buyer do about passage to Louisville, Ky. Thought that CSX owns this line[%-)]

Welcome to the forum. Railroads have always sold trackage rights along with line sales. CP would probaby include the rights from Terre Haute to Chicago and from Bedford to Louisville along with their track. The New Albany to Louisville segment is actually NS.
Does anyone know what happened to the former Conrail line from Terre Haute through Paris and up to Danville ?
