CP Rail GP38 with Large Multimark?

I’ve found a couple of Atlas GP38s in first CP Multimark scheme, with the large multi and narrow stripes on the cab and nose:

However, I have yet to locate any prototype photos showing GP38s in this scheme. While Atlas is good about only doing prototype paint schemes, could they have done a fooby here?

You will find that the GP38AC fleet (3000-3020) were delivered with the large multimark, but the GP38-2s came some years later, by which time the wider stripes and smaller multimark were standard.
