I’ve just discovered these wonderful things and find I am too late for most of them. Fine Scale Miniatures are tough to find. Same for Campbell. I spend some time on eBay looking for older stuff but it is not abundant.
What other quality kit manufacturers fit in line with these? Who else should I be looking for? Who are the best craftsman-style kit makers today?
Westerfield, Sunshine, Funaro & Camerlengo are some of the top “craftsman style” kit makers in production today. All three are resin kits.
You could try some Bar Mills Kits, in addition to those already mentioned.

They will continue to produce Alder’s line of resin farm buildings, stations, and other small buildings. They are excellent kits. Give Surrey a few weeks to get organized, and then look for some pictures at the web site.

I’ve completed their “Big Lou’s” and was very pleased with the quality of the kit. I’m currently working on “Harrington’s Bar” and I’ll be starting on their boxing camp next. Of their limited run kits only the boxing camp is currently available. They do offer some “quick kits” as well that look pretty neat.
I’ve completed about a dozen FSM kits and have at least that many still in kit form stashed away. Unfortunately the demand for these has gone through the roof in recent years (that’s good for George but bad for those of us who love to build his kits). I’ve been forced to miss the past couple of years.
Check out Valley Model Trains on the web too. Sorry, I don’t have their URL handy but I’ve dealt with them in the past and have been very happy with their service.
