Article doesn’t say anything about anyone getting killed, but there wasn’t much info there in the first place.

lost one for sure.

For vidio go to www.wfaa.com
It looks very bad. WFAA news comfirms one dead.

I guess the BNSF just found out that the UP is having their meltdown.

The problme with this site?

You have to be a memeber to wathc the news,
how pathetic is that?

Second off, In this advanced day and age, there should Be No head on colisions.

This is so stupid it boggles my mind.

Jay

Well I am not registering to watch any of the videos to see a train wreck where there was a fatality.

Amen to that!!

…No membership required…I know nothing about a membership and I watched the video this morning here on the computer at the above mentioned site.

I hope I’m never in one of those!!!

as sad as it is to say…and i feel for the loss of the crewman…since i am a rail roader…and the thought of that happening crosses my mind from time to time…
but S#$T happens… im sure the crews didnt say…lets have a cra***oday… but it happens…it is a part of rail roading…and always will be…even with more technology… that is still not a fail safe… computers fail… people fail… all you can do is do your job the best you can…and as safe as you can…and hope and pray that the brothers on the other train are doing the same thing…

Amen, brother

Was this collision on the line from that comes from Oklahoma thru from Oklahoma City or was it the ex Frisco line? Or was it either?

wboatner

I just saw some photos of the wrecked units on Railpictures.com, WOW! Does anybody know how fast the two trains were going when the collided?

Grayson county–would be on the ex-Frisco line.
