I just caught the tale end of a segment on our local news. Some woman put her 2 year old on the tracks in an aparent murder atempt. The train was able to stop short. She then took the child and left only to return and try it again. She was picked up and the child is in protective custody. She is charged with atempted murder.
That’s crazy. How could someone do that.[V]

Sounds like a new variation on “suicide by train,” which is closely related to “suicide by cop.”
Now what they should do is strap her to a mainline rail and have a train approach at say 40 mph and stop just short of her, and then do it over and over again at even higher speeds until she goes completely out of her mind with fright…and if the train somehow does not stop…WELL, GOD MUST HAVE WANTED IT THAT WAY!

Thias is really sad, it is amazing that the train was able to stop and the child was okay…

again, another example to add to the arguement that people should be required to go through extensive testing and be licensed in order to reproduce.
Same way a woman can strip their 3 kids and throw them off a bridge.
I swear, sometimes i think there should be a detailed mental health check before someone has a kid and an annual check every year after that.

Latest news…last night news stories recanted that the woman “pushed” the kid onto the track. Latest is that she was disoriented and confused as to where to board the train (apparently she thought she could board at a crossing gate) and that the kid was just left to wander on the tracks. They arrested her and are now looking to see if any drugs are involved, which looks very likely .
Still doesnt negate allowing a small kid wander onto railroad tracks…[V]
