Creating an SD70M w/ a flared radiator

The reason I am posting this question is because I need to guidance to finding the flared radiator section so that I can turn one of my Athearn Gensis SD70 into one with a phase II cab with the flared radiator.

I have been looking all over the internet trying to find the flared radiator shroud, I found the radiator covers and the fans on toytrainheaven.com but have had very little luck in finding the shroud.

Can anyone provide me some insight or perhaps even a link that lead me to what I am looking for. This would be HO scale and if more information is needed just let me know.

Thanks

Will

I model an earlier time, but someone over on the Diesel Detailer’s site might know, see my sinature for the link.

Thanks for the suggestion. I have contacted someone who has made one of these same units to find out where he purchased the shroud from.

I want to get started on the Phase II cab and I need to use something along the line of an apoxy to build up some points on the nose in order to make the straight edges of the phase II cab.

I was thinking of using plaster but then again that would be too soupy. I have seen water weld used but the finish was not as smooth as I would like. I could use styrene but I am not sure I could cut the strips to make it look right. Can anyone suggest a product that I could apply and once dry could sand down to get the look I am going for?

I bought a cab and the flare section from WWW.MPP-Models.Com a while ago, its a fairley decent resin cast.
