crossings

Hi:

I am almost ready for my first venture into Garden Railroading and I would appreciate some advice…

The Loco is G scale and the track layout I am planning is in the middle of a “display” garden mound with limited space. Crossings would be used, rather than overpasses or tunnels since landscape remodeling would be too disruptive.

The total layout will be 160 feet without any sidings.

My question is what are the disadvantages of crossing if any. And how many can be used without any issues.

no crossings?bridges?overpasses? how are the LPB’sgonna get across the tracks?

you can probably get away with 2-3 crossings but spaced out over the length.
