The Royal Canadian Navy has a long way to go to catch the crack US Navy!
" Steckler,I can’t believe that you lost the USS Kornblatt!"

Now why would those Canadians name a Battle Cruiser after a Chicago suburb? It probably has a Moosehead for a figurehead on its bow! [(-D][(-D][(-D]
JOIN the Canadian Navy

And SEE Lake Superior!!
The new platform is in use. I don’t know if all planned work has finished, though.
Aw, c’mon. Give them Canadians a break. They are half French, you know. Give 'em some credit, I read in the “just for laugh” thread the the Canadians took on the whole US Atlantic fleet with nothing nore than a lighthouse!! I’d like to see Nimitz do that with the Japanese.
I’m aware that CSSHegewisch is a place(?) related to Chicago trains and commuting. Is it a town? suburb?train station? I thought it was all one word.
And besides, the battlecruiser would probably be more acurately refered to as the HMCS Hegewisch.[;)]
It’s a Chicago neighborhood on the SE side.

Thanks. One word or two?
Hegewisch – That’s in the 10th Ward, “Fast Eddie’s” old territory?

CSS is the abreviation for Confederate States Ship, as in CSS Virginia that fought the USS Monitor.

You mean CSS doesn’t stand for “Canadian Sailing Ship”?[;)]
