RR Picture Archives lists several CSS&SB caboose, all AAR Type M930 and AAR Class NE.
Can anyone help identify when these were acquired for use by the South Shore?

South Shore has pretty much used hand me down equipment from whoever owned it at the time. The two exceptions I can recall are the GP38s and the ex ATSF cabooses acquired when ATSF was phasing them out. Approximately 1980.
probably when the c&o gained control in the 70’s. all the cabooses "ve seen were either old c&o or ex santa fe.
