What is the round logo on the nose? I thought maybe it was one of those “Heritage Units” CSX has but those seem to be limited to the big GE’s.
Have seen the questioned sticker on other GP38-3’s. I suspect it is something that identifies the ‘rebuilder’ of the locomotive. Haven’t seen any of the stickers well enough to be able to read what is written on it.
