I know this engine is retired but,dose anyone know where the CSX 23 is? Is it scraped? And why is it retired

The unit was scrapped after a collision in August, 1996 near Smithfield, WV.

yeah but it did not last long. And dose any one have any pics? how bad was it damaged? and I thought it was longer that 96 I thought it was 97 or 98 or 99?

Couldn’t find any wreck photos of this unit. I’m not sure what the extent of the damage was.
