CSX, Delaware promote grade crossing safety in state
I commend CSX for helping contribute and partnership with these organizations for a good cause but I must criticize them on their PR methods. For Goodwill they bring a NASCAR simulator? Do they not have at least a trailer that would include more railroad related material? If an event is near live tracks I know NS likes to bring their exhibit car and locomotive simulator out.
Those ideas would appeal to the rail enthusiast, but not to the general public. NASCAR has a stronger following so it may draw more people to the events.
NASCAR is in Dover, Delaware this weekend. The Cabela’s is at a major highway intersection and is a drawing card for people on their way to the race.
