How does the Brunswick Line use Camden Station? I thought those trains operated in and out of Union Station, DC>
Don’t you people read each others posts?
Hi The brunswick line does not use camden yards station. In the early 90’s they use to run some trains to camden from brunswick via union station.
The brunwick line does not use camden yards.
The brunswick line does not use camden yards. Back in the 90" s they did run 2 trains from brunswick to camden via union. There is also a connection to connect the trains from brunswick to camden before getting to union station. I am not sure, maybe, csx uses it now.
Ya, there’s a connection between the two lines. The end of CSX’s Metropolitan Subdivision is on a bridge that goes over a few tracks that connect Union Station to Amtrak’s Ivy City yard, and then the Met connects with CSX’s Capital Sub. All of it interconnects, but it is basically one huge wye. No MARC use the wye however for connection from Brunswick. Hope that helps!
The Brunswick Line does NOT use Camden Station as it terminates in Washington DC; only Camden Line service was impacted.
