What units are still on the road with original paint of CSX’s heritage (Conrail, Chessie, Seaboard, etc.)? I haven’t seen any in years.
Also, does CSX still have any U-boats in use? I’d imagine not

The newest paint scheme looks very much like the old C & O…very nice.
There are no units in predecessor paint jobs left in operation on CSX. There is a Conrail painted GP38-2 and SD40-2 stored at the Huntington shops but both units have been retired by CSX.
The last CSX GE U-boat was retired in 2001, U23B #3305. A U36B did last as a load test unit at the Waycross,GA shops unit a few years ago before it was retired and replaced by a pair of B36-7’s.
