Not to be toooo picky, but the old B&O signals are/were color position light.

Why is it that some tunnels built 100 years ago were built with adequate height for double stacks and others were not? I guess some had better vision of the future

Better late than never I suppose. CSX seems to lag behind NS in track improvements in the East. Just think if CSX would have done this fifteen years ago maybe NS would be chasing CSX instead of vise-versa.
If they are removing the concrete liners on the ceilings of the tunnels what is supporting the ceilings then from collapse
