Does anyone have any idea how many trains run on this line per day? I’d like to have some sort of idea about the best time of day to camp out near the tracks rather than sit and hope something heads my way. Getting too cold for that. I’ve googled and such but can’t find anything.
My guess would be about 20 a day on the east west line.Your best bet would be to go north to Marion Ohio.Then you could see action on the north south csx (C&O) and NS(N&W) lines as well.The depot is a good spot to keep warm and the shovel isn’t a bad place to eat either.
