I do say this to:wallyworld.
I have and must agree to your forum.
If I want acurate color and precise detail than I will fully acept the extra surcharge for each model.
At least ill know where my money goes!
I only model the BNSF “because” Ive always been a BN fan for many years.
I don’t like the UP mostly because the UP always counter attacks others.
If the UP new what thay were getting into when thay started taking over the SP (which led to there stupid meltdown in the first place) the UP would be a very strong running railroad “with no delays at all” Oh sure taking over the CNW was no easy task too.
But anyway…yes I now agree that the licsensing is ok with me,aslong as I get an acurate prototype.
BNSFfan.
I know this issue can be pretty emotionally charged. No UP engines on Microsoft Train Simulator? Mine has them. I have no problem with the really small additional expense a railroad’s licensing requirements add to my models.I suppose my only proviso is that the model be accurate as to the railroad it represents. In brief,I don’t propose to allow this issue to stop me from enjoying my hobby. My two cents worth anyway.
