Great pictures! Do you know what kind of locomotive is in the picture at the top of the page? I have never seen that kind of locomotive before.

Great shots, Grande Man! [:)]c

Nice shots, really liked the one with the caboose.
Unfortunately they seem to be on the endangered species list.

Great shots!

Were they from Harrisonville or the yard across from the Exchange Club Fairgrounds?

Thanks!

Great photo’s of my fav road. I didn’t know they had started painting the switchers in YN3.

They were close to the old downtown section of town, not far from the Riverwalk, where the highway viaduct crosses the yard throat on Laney-Walker Blvd. It was a neat train watching spot. The yard seemed very heavy on power!

Hey guys, here’s a couple of more shots.

…Enjoyed the photos…Herzog, the track repairing people. And those big old through truss bridges seem like they will last for ever. Have some here in Muncie {on an abandoned route}, and if the pier’s stay in place it looks like they will stand for another hundred years.

FYI Harrisonville Yard has only about 10 cars in it and in 2002(or 2003) there was some people saying that it was turing Harrisonville Yard into a single track main line but that has not happened yet also, CSX parks there Masters Train there but really it is a goast yard.

PS where did you get the pic of CSX 7713 on the 6th pic also if you go down towards the end of the yard CSX still has damaged cars from an accident earlier this year
