CSX Pics.

This is a northbound unit coal train exiting a tunnel not far from our home. These pics were taken on our hunting lease! A railfan spot we’re legal to be on (not the right of way, obviously) on the Birmingham/Nashville mainline. The engines are numbered 502 and 503. I saw them last week about 25 miles north of this location pulling a southbound coal drag. This train was only about 10 minutes behind a mixed freight. Bear with me on the pics, I forgot my tripod and had to hand shoot them.
