csx q 500 (8846 and 2516) stalled out south of xn near leipsic ohio. 2 engines from the train following them pushed them up to leipsic.hope they can make it over hicksville hill.

That train sometimes is realy big was it underpowered or something wrong with the units.
Both.it was 8000 ft long and the 2nd unit gave out.q508 pulled it into hire road yard. they way i heard over the radio they took the 2nd unit with them to stanley yard for maintenance in toledo.

With all due respect Joe…there is nothing that truly qualifies as a ‘hill’, between Willard and Chicago…max graident is 0.3%.
csx crew to dispatcher"I dont care just get me off this hill". leipsic is on the toledo sub south of deshler ohio(north of ottawa).I have also been told the area around hicksville ohio needed pushers for trains leaving the station in passenger days.i wouldn’t want a train to get stuck there either.
