I visited Harper’s Ferry WVA in July. Saw four trains in two hours on the old Winchester and Potomac trestle that crosses the Potomac River and connects to the old B&O main to Baltimore and Washington. IN all my previous visits to there, had never seen a train on that track. In contrast, saw only one train on the old B&O. Anybody out there know what has caused this shift in traffic? Is it related to the Conrail acquisition? Where are those trains headed?
