I noticed that last week, there were CSX trains on the CP Galt Subdivision in Ontario. Anybody know why and what trains other than Q380 I believe it was?
CSXT goes from CANADA to Albany and Albany to canada line from the former conrail line.
Canada takes in a fairly big area – that’s like saying it goes from Toronto to USA!!!11
The big flood two weeks ago sent CSX freights into Ontario on CP and CN. Q380 was just one of the trains that were re-routed. And, they are getting more rain tonight in the eastern part of the NYSSR. Most of the detours were eventually run over the B&O via the old main line and Baltimore, up to New Jersey. Things are more or less back to normal, except for the CP, which has to rebuild part of the Harpursville trestle/bridge, which may take time.
I was using former conrail term.
