CSX volunteers spruce up West Virginia school
CSX can install a student garden, plant trees, create a nature trail and outdoor classroom, and paint murals and graphics in the hallways, gym, cafeteria and playground…Yet, ignores the attention required to clean up its own graffiti laden and dilapidated looking boxcar fleet. Unlike the school, the entire nation sees CSX through its equipment at thousands of crossings each and every day. This is where public relations money needs to be spent.
Fixing up a school is a better use of money. At least it will stay fixed up for a while. Given the current lack of security at railroad facilities across the nation, repainted rail cars will be graffitied again within a couple of days.
