CSX Walkway color?

I’m painting the detail on a CSX GP 40 like this one.

Anyone know what color the walkways and stair treads should be? (black??) They are currently the same grey as the rest of the loco.

The best top down shot I could find over on railpictures.net was this one , looks all grey to me.[:D]

Spritz some black on. By GAPPLEG’s color, the appear to have been black, but covered in so much dust and possibly worn that they weathered back to the original color. You can also see a run over where the CSX blue is on the walkway. But black or grey is your nest bet.
