As early as 2017? You mean as late as 2017. Where the heck would the bypass be? Theyd have to tear buildings down and totally change the landscape.

Britt, “as early as 2017” is correct in this case, because what they’re implying is the earliest possible start date for construction…not the latest possible start date, which is what “as late as 2017” implies.
What improvements/projects are planned for the Purple (Evanston) line? None are mentioned in this piece.
