CTL Group expands rail consulting services
Despite the railroads use of their own bridge inspectors, it is still management that makes the decisions to paint, repair, or replace as needed the bridge structures they own.
Judging by the very rusty appearance of many of the bridges the railroads own, and not made of Corten steel, all properties need attention to the slow and insidious decay of their vital infrastructure. Someone needs to nudge management into taking better care of their bridges. Maybe the Chief Engineers or VP Engineering would welcome the advice of this consulting firm to bolster their arguments for taking care of their bridges, hence bigger budgets.
Who cares? Are these people advertisers in Trains?
