I just came across this feature on CTT’s home page. What a great idea! A new question answered each week? I love it! Nice going CTT!

What’s this week’s question?
This week, a question about a troublesome ZW transformer. Diagnosis - moisture.

As a newcomer just embarking on my first layout, I not only look forward to a new question answered each week, I’ll probably pose my fair share of them as well.

Jim,
Agree, sounds like a swell idea. My guess is that the majority of questions will be about electronics. This is the most problematic area for most, myself included.
Jim [a suggestion], why don’t you post the link and the subject to this posting each week. Then keep this one going like we do the Coffee Pot. I had never noticed it was there. Good job. [tup]
Having this on the forum would be neat. I rely on the CTT email newsletter to see what’s new on the CTT home page - I always look at the videos and online ‘extras’
I’ve never seen it mentioned in the email newsletter. I just happened upon it looking for the Lionel/K-Line article.
I will keep this updated each week, or perhaps a new thread w/ same heading each week but with different date in the title? Please let me know which you prefer. One continuous thread like the coffee shop or new ones each week.
Jim
I suggest a new topic each week - a thread like the coffeepot gets way too cumbersome to effectively search for answers to past questions.

I’m afraid I’m underwhelmed: Mr. Hoffer noticed that his ZW was hot and wet inside. The diagnosis is that water got into it.
How did water get inside? Humidity, spilt coffee or vodka?
Pretty interesting.
Morale to story: Don’t leave your ZW outside if forcaste calls for showers.
As hot-n-sticky as it has been it was probably sweat that dripped down. [(-D]
