Cumbres & Toltec No. 463 steaming this spring
I wish to second Scott’s comment, and add that it might be fitting to run a Holiday special with 463 as Rudolph since it seems that Gene Autry is the reason the capable folks at Cumbres & Toltec actually had it to restore.

The rebuild actually took approximately 4 years and although some work was done by volunteers it was mainly paid C&TS railroad shop personnel who worked on the 463. Also, the charter we are talking about would operate from Antonito to Chama.
Great to have it back in service! I’ll have to pop over there for a look-see and some pics. A big THANKS to all of those involved.
