Current location of all BN E9's?

I grew up along the racetrack between Aurora and Chicago. There were 25 (26?) beautiful rebuilt E8/9’s that ran this stretch from the 70’s until the 90’s… Does anyone maintain a list of where they all ended up?

Many I see on railpictures.net as being stripped. I can’t even look at those pictures without a tear. I see one was restored in CB&Q colors down in TX. Any others out there that may have been salvaged?

I only know of three
BN-3 is in illinois
9923 and 9922 are used for parts somewhere
there are others but I dont know where they are

There are few alive and well…very well.

NYSW used a couple for their business train, so did IC. I don’t know where any of those are now.

The last time I saw 9923, it was in working in Barr Yard in Blue Island, hooked to a string of gons. That was December, 2004, according to the data on the photo file I took. It was still wearing BN green paint.

Ozark Mountain Railcar Dealers also list a pair on their website for sale.
