Curved Turnouts

Does anyone know what the centerline radii are on the tighter Peco and Walthers curved turnouts? I have a specific situation on my highly space challenged layout where I need the inside radius to be 18 inches or very close. I’m using code 100 NS.

Thanks,

The PECO radii are very close to 18 for the inner, 22 for the outer. I think both of them are maybe an eighth of an inch less or so, which should work for you. I’ve got 2 of these, and they work great.

Peco catalogue quotes the radii as 17 1/4" and 19 7/8" (438mm and 505mm) for the Setrack turnouts. ST-244 and -245.

Walthers 2006 catalog lists the #6 1/2 TO inside radius at 18" and outside at 24"

I did all of the above and bought a Walthers (Shinohara) that was supposedly 24"R inside.
It did not look right so I bought the next larger size. Still looked wrong, but better (perfect match would have been in between like #7-1/2). Don’t know why neither fit, probably the radius specified is the radius at the exit not near before the frog. It’s more like an easement curve.
