Custom BN Paint Scheme(s)

I model the BN in n scale in 1980-1996. Now, I picked up two undecorated diesels for a good price, a SD80MAC and a AC4400CW, of which neither model did the BN ever own. For some reason I think it’d be neat to custom paint each in some sort of alternate BN scheme and add them to my roster. I was brainstorming a reverse scheme w/ the green on the roof and the black on the sides, or maybe white /black/green camo.

Anyone want to share some paint schemes they’ve made for they’re own railroad (doesn’t have to be BN)???

Sounds fun, I’m actually adding lift rings to a Kato SD70MAC to get an H3 repaint! Although I’'m not at a level of Proto 87, I still really enjoy fantacy/legacy paint schemes! How about the AC4400 in the Red/Gray CB&Q sheme like that nice restored SD24? THat has not been done & there may be decals for it, perhaps!

I like the legacy idea. Maybe I should do the SD70 in a Great Northern paint scheme?
