custom painting for brass steam locos

i need your help.

i have several brass locos that i need painted, and i was wondering if any of y’all have had any experience with or could reccomend someone that could paint them for me. i have seen the ads in MR, but i was needing to know who was the best. i have an airbrush, but i am not too good with it yet. i dont really want to riun a 300.00+ locomotive, and i dont have any idea how to disassemble them. do any of y’all know where i can find info on disassembling brass steam locos and adding DCC???

any help you can give me would be greatly appreciated

BTW i have 2 4-6-2’s, 2 2-10-2’s, and a 4-4-2 that need to be painted for the Chicag & Eastern Illinois Railroad. i will do the decals myself.

A professional paint job will run you 250-300 dollars per locomotive. A non professional paint job will cost less, but will lessen the value of your locomotive.
