Customer Service ... as it should be

a few weeks ago i ordered volume 1 of the Siskiyou Line series , it finally arrived last week on monday (i blame canada customs for the slow delivery , somebody probably had to go look up what a DVD was , and if i was supposed to pay duty on it) .

i was busy for a couple of days so i didn’t get around to looking at it till wednesday , when i found that despite the box being labelled correctly AND the DVD being labelled correctly , what i in fact had was the DCC clinic DVD (figures i already own that!) so i sent an email off giving the details . next day i got an email back saying they were shipping my replacement DVD that day ! WOW !!! no questions asked , no proof that i had the wrong disk , just top notch service . the new DVD arrived yesterday (value on the customs form was $0 so nobody had to figure out if i should be charged [:)] ) and i sat down and enjoyed it as soon as it arrived

so thanks Joe , for great customer service AND a great video , it was very educational to see some of the design process behind a large operation oriented layout , and the ops session made me want to get some track down and start running trains
